Mandy Walters, RDH Registered Dental Hygienist | Speaker | Consultant | Educator | Advocate for Empathy in Dentistry Mandy Walters, RDH is a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist, speaker, and consultant with over a decade of clinical experience in the dental field. She began her career as a dental assistant in pediatrics and orthodontics before pursuing her education at Tulsa Community College. Mandy earned her Associate's degree before advancing to obtain her Bachelor's of Dental Hygiene from Eastern International College in New Jersey. Throughout her career, Mandy has demonstrated a passion for leadership, professional growth, and elevating the dental profession. She was selected as one of the original hygienists to help launch and develop a rapidly expanding hygiene department within a growing dental organization, where she played an important role in supporting clinical excellence, team collaboration, and a culture centered on empathy and patient care. Today, Mandy leads her own consulting company, where she works with dental practices and professionals to strengthen clinical systems, support compliance and infection control protocols, and empower dental teams through education and leadership development. Her work includes public speaking, practice consulting, hands-on clinical support, licensing and certification courses, and continuing education opportunities designed to help dental teams thrive in today's evolving healthcare environment. She also partners with industry organizations and brands through collaborations to bring holistic-minded resources and innovation to the dental community and patients. In addition to her consulting and speaking work, Mandy serves on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Dental Hygienists' Association, where she actively advocates for the advancement of the profession and supports initiatives focused on education, outreach, and professional development. Mandy is deeply committed to what she calls her "Ministry in Dentistry," a philosophy that blends clinical excellence with compassion, service, and meaningful connection with patients and colleagues alike. When she's not speaking, consulting, or supporting dental teams, Mandy enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Ben, their son, Bennett, and their Australian Shepherd, Rocky Bear.
